Cable Dahmer Buick GMC of Kansas City

Incompetent on basic oil change services. Service tech did not re-attach the engine oil cap on my new 2024 GMC Sierra 2500. After driving 4,000 miles and 2 days through the Teton mountain range, I smelled burning oil and noticed the oil cap was sitting in the extra battery tray. Oil was all over the inside of the engine bay. They offered an apology and a free oil change. The engine is still covered with oil.

Thieves and complacency. Let me start this out with saying I totally get that we need to remove valuables from the truck but I forgot since I quickly dropped off for service when a light came on. I dropped my truck off for a brake service for the day and I accidentally left my bank deposit $1300 for my own restaurant in the flip up middle console. I went to work and they were going to deliver my vehicle back to me in the evening. I paid 2000 for my brakes to get done and the truck gets back me in the evening. They did a great job with that. When I got off work I went out and realized the deposit was missing. My fault I left it in there however when doing breaks you don’t need to go into this space. I texted the service rep via text, who I take my truck to whenever I have a problem, and explained the situation. He said the two managers would contact me……..nothing for days……I called and left a message …….nothing. A week and a half later I haven’t even received a “we looked into it and couldn’t find anything”. So there is a thief and people who are working in management must be okay with ignoring these issues working there. I get it, it’s my fault for leaving cash in a secure truck, however I would have at least respected if someone called me back. I feel this issue may come back up for someone else so I hope they take care of the next person. I will need to go elsewhere for service now. Lock your things up if you go here.
