Cable Dahmer recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Commercial Service Center in Kansas City, MO. On June 24, 2026, the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce joined our team for a ribbon cutting at the southwest corner of 135th Street and Holmes Road, in the heart of the Martin City neighborhood.
The celebration brought together technicians, neighbors, and local business owners. To everyone who came out to support us, thank you. This is a moment we have looked forward to for a long time, and it means even more with the community standing alongside us.

A New Home in Martin City
The southwest corner of 135th Street and Holmes Road sat vacant for years. Today it is alive again, revitalized as a working home for fleet and commercial service in Kansas City. Choosing Martin City was intentional. It is a growing part of South Kansas City with a strong sense of community, and it puts our team closer to the businesses we serve every day.
CEO Carlos Ledezma cut the ribbon to mark the occasion, and he shared why this location fits where the company is headed.

“We outgrew our last building, so this is really ideal for the kind of growth we’re experiencing. And the location here in Martin City’s thriving neighborhood is exactly what we want.”
Built to Handle Vehicles at Scale
The Commercial Service Center is designed to service large groups of vehicles in one place. That includes work vans and trucks, used cars, and brand new models. Vehicles are inspected, repaired or reconditioned, and outfitted with accessories, then sold or returned to the businesses that depend on them.

Everything about the space was planned for high vehicle volume, from the equipment on the floor to the way work flows through the building. It is a setup built for the realities of keeping commercial fleets on the road.
Ready to Serve Kansas City Businesses
The new facility strengthens how we deliver fleet and commercial service across Kansas City. Commercial Fleet Service Director Kyle Kitzsteiner explained who relies on the team and why the location works so well.
“We have dozens of fleet accounts, mostly major national accounts. We also do a lot for local HVAC businesses and other contractors. 135th and Holmes Road is very convenient for them.”
That mix of national accounts and local contractors is exactly the kind of work this location was built for. Whether a business runs a handful of service vehicles or a large fleet, the goal is the same. Keep vehicles maintained, keep downtime low, and keep the business moving.

More Than a Building, It Is About People
For Carlos Ledezma, the grand opening is about far more than square footage and vehicle bays. It is about the people who will build their careers here.

“At its heart though, this is all about developing people. We want to give young technicians long-term career paths. We know that facilitating rewarding careers is good for our company. So, this location puts us in a stronger position to do that. We want to help them learn and grow. And we really enjoy watching it happen.”
A Thank You to Our Martin City Neighbors
A grand opening is only as good as the people who show up, and our neighbors made this one special. We were grateful to be welcomed by fellow Martin City businesses, including Jess & Jim’s Steakhouse, Pegah’s Cafe, Secure Passage, and Martin City Telegraph.
Moments like that remind us why we chose this neighborhood. We are proud to be part of a community that shows up for one another.
Looking Ahead
With the ribbon cut and the doors open, we are excited about what comes next. The Cable Dahmer Commercial Fleet and Service Center is ready to serve the Kansas City community and the local businesses that keep it running. We look forward to building lasting relationships here in Martin City for years to come.
